VonHaus Mosaic Fire Pit Review And Giveaway (ENDED)

Is anyone else excited that Winter has finally decided to bugger off? I sure am! I’m now in full ‘getting ready for summer’ mode. One thing I love about summer is having a good old BBQ with your family and roasting marshmallows over an open fire pit.

I was kindly contacted by DOMU who offered to send me one of their fire pits to review*, which I was so excited about! Their fire pits looked gorgeous and I’ve always dreamed of owning my own fire pit. I was sent the VonHaus Dark Grey Mosaic Fire Pit.

I’ll start off by talking about the assembly of the fire pit. It was super quick and easy! The instructions are really easy to follow and it can be built within about 10-15 mins. Parts of the product are quite heavy so have some around to lend a hand building it.

The quality is amazing and the mosaic pattern has been put together so well. I’ll be honest and say I wasn’t expecting something so well built. I love when a product looks and feels great quality.

This fire pit is pretty swish as not only is it a fire pit, it’s also triples up as a table and a BBQ, so when it’s not in use it can used as a stylish table or to cook up some food if you’re hosting a BBQ. Now, of course, as this is a review I really needed to use it in all forms, including as a BBQ. Here in England we’ve not quite hit summer yet, so the day we used it as a BBQ it was very windy – It took ages to light because of the wind, but we managed it!

The dome of the fire pit is rather deep and it also has a wire rack that sits at the bottom to help with clearing up afterwards – the last thing you want to do is spend ages clearing up after the party is over! Whilst the fire pit is being used there is also a handy fireguard which helped prevent spitting flames or debris. This fireguard also comes with a hook so you can pick it up whilst it’s hot.

The cooking space is nice and wide so you’d be able to fit a lot on there at the same time. I noticed that the sides of the fire pit (the mosaic ring around the outside) didn’t get very hot which I was very impressed with, so you’re able to pop your cooking tools on there without worrying if they’ll get too hot.

I must say overall I am very impressed with this fire pit. It looks stylish, feels and looks great quality and can be used 3 different ways. I am very excited to get this back to our house to use this summer – big thanks to my parents for letting me use it at their house. Our back garden is pretty full/messy right now!

Ohh this is perfect for summer! We don’t have a big garden yet, just a balcony, though hopefully that will change! This looks like an awesome fire pit, I’ve always wanted one (mainly for toasting marshmallows) and it would be so lovely for those summer evenings 🙂

How cute is this??? Love that it can be used as a table when its not in use as a BBQ! We’ve just been given the go ahead to do whatever we want to do with the garden so this would be the ideal feature for a house/garden warming party when its done! Well done for braving the wind!!! Xx

Knowing what our British summers are usually like, we’d use this firepit to huddle around in the evenings for warmth, haha. It looks lovely, how fab it doubles up as a table too! x

This is really lovely, I think I would use it in different ways, a little table to put drinks or snacks on, cooking marshmallows or to just sit around warming ourselves and enjoy watching the fire

I love the mosaic effect. Nothing better than chillin in the garden with a few jars in front of a fire pit as the sun starts to stay out long. Can’t wait for the Summer x
