Valentines Day Gift Guide 2018

We’re finally at the end of January! Who else can agree that January seemed to last forever?! Now that we’ve hit February it means Valentines day is slowly approaching us. I’ve always loved Valentines day. It’s such a lovely day to show your loved ones how much they mean to you. I’ve put together a few bits that I think would be lovely gifts to give your loved one. I love planning what I’m going to get Nathan, so I hope these help you if you’re stuck for ideas!

men-ü Travel Kit – £34.95

This men-ü travel kit contains; daily refresh shampoo, liquifflex (hair cream), shower gel, shave creme, healthy facial wash and matt ‘skin refresh’ gel. They all smell lovely and fresh, and feel wonderful on the skin. Nathans favourite is the liquifflex hair cream. The product comes out as a cream but turns into a liquid when rubbed in between your fingers, it’s quite fascinating! Although it turns into a liquid your hands are left dry afterwards – perfect if you’re out and about! On top of all 6 products you get a nice sized travel bag included.

Phil Smith: Total Treat Shampoo and Conditioner – £3.50 each & Phil Smith: Total Treat Argon Oil – £4.00

I rarely treat myself to nice hair products so I always feel excited when I get given a set of nicer hair products. The ‘Total Treat’ set by Phil Smith smells gorgeous and leave your hair feeling smooth, silky and just wonderful. I’ve been using this set for just over a week now and my hair looks nicer for longer – usually my hair turns into a greasy mess after 24 hours of washing it! This trio would make the perfect treat for anyone out there who’s hair deserves to be spoilt this month.

Peaky Blinders Dark Spiced Rum – £24.99

Sometimes you just can’t go wrong with a tasty bottle of spiced rum! Sadler’s have 3 different spirits in their Peaky Blinder to choose from; Black Spiced Rum, Irish Whiskey and Spiced Dry Gin. We’ve tried their Black Spiced Rum and it was delicious. It is very sweet to start off with because of the spices, and then you get a nice warmth from the rum. Nathan’s favourite spirit is spiced rum and he loves this. If you know someone who loves rum this is the perfect gift. Plus I love the label design!

Phil Smith: Glam Shine Glossing Serum – £4.00 & Phil Smith: Super Smooth Shampoo – £3.50

More beautiful hair products! These 2 are perfect to achieve a smooth and glossy look with your hair. If you think your loved one deserves some gorgeous hair products to make them feel glossy and amazing, these will be perfect. If you’re thinking of putting together a hamper of gorgeous gifts the Glam Shine will suit this perfectly – it’s a gel-like serum that smells absolutely amazing!

Chateau De Champteloup Crémant De Loire Rosé – £7.99 (Available From 4th February in Aldi)

Whether as a gift or an extra for a Valentines day dinner date, this Chậteau De Champteloup Rosé Brut is affordable and delicious. It leans on the dry side and is fruity and light. I usually prefer sweet wines but I thought this was delicious! It can be found in Aldi from the 4th February.

As well as these products above, here is more that I’ve seen that I think would be perfect to gift your loved one with this Valentines day.

I hope this gift guide has helped if you’re struggling to know what to get your loved one. Do you know what you’ll be getting that special someone this Valentines day? Let me know in the comments!

Oooh lovely ideas. Valentines the year before last I treated myself to a fab cat themed vuonfrom Lady Dinahs emporium. Although I’m married I think Valentines is halve to appreciate and love yourself as much as your partner.

  3. You can never beat smellies and booze! My boyfriend and I don’t really celebrate Valentine’s Day because it’s his birthday the day before, so we will be going out for a nice meal and celebrating then! I may or may not still be holding out for a some flowers on the 14th itself though heheh!
