Look at me go, 3 days on the trot of blogging! Impressive eh?
I’ve decided to start a new series called ‘Favourite Posts of..’ and then the month that has just come to an end. The reason is recently there has been so much negativity going on in the world that I really want to spread some love in the blogging community. There are so many of us and I love reading blog posts, but I am quite literally the worst at leaving comments – I know it’s terrible! I’m so easily distracted and I’m terrible for remembering passwords for accounts to comment through, so I’m hoping this new series makes up for my lack of leaving comments for posts I read and love.
This month I’ve read so many great posts by some lovely bloggers, and I wish I could write about them all, but I’ve narrowed it down to my 3 favourite posts of the month. I’ve also included my favourite post I’ve written at the end, in case anyone would like to read that too. Let’s begin shall we?
This post written by the lovely Gwennan is exactly what you need if you’re confused about the general election that will be happening in June in the UK. This post tells you exactly what’s going on, why it’s happening, who is running and everything else you need to know. This post is completely impartial which is the main thing I love about it. The media is so one sided and it’s hard to know who to believe. Gwennan has also outlined what visions each party has which I found so helpful – and she’s drawn the best illustrations to go with each party, they’re spot on!
If you want to know more about the general election I really encourage you to pop on over to her blog. Voting is so important so make sure, if you live in the UK, on the 8th of June you vote! Click here to read her post
The amazing Helen ran the London Marathon this month. This is something I would love to do, but I would never in my life be fit enough to do so! Not only did she run it in 5hr34mins, but Hels only gave birth in September last year! Helen ran the London Marathon to help fund the South Leicester Memory Cafes. You can read more about her story here.
It was lovely to read how the marathon went for Helen, and she has some lovely photos, especially one of her son, Dougie, spotting her whilst she was running! She raised so much money for the South Leicester Memory Cafes and I’m so proud of her. Click here to read Helens post.
I have been loving seeing Sophia’s daughter Willow grow up from a baby into a beautiful little girl. I also love going onto Instagram and seeing Sophia’s Instagram stories of her little girl toddling around, dancing and being adorable! Willows 15 month update is a lovely one as Willow started walking in March, this is something I can’t wait for my son to do!
I love reading baby updates, and this one really made me smile. I can’t wait to see what else Willow gets up do in the next few months! You can read Willow’s Update post here.
I would love it if you checked out these 3 gorgeous bloggers and their posts. I can’t wait to see what other posts these ladies write in May. Now it’s time for my favourite post I’ve written this month. Mine has definitely got to be my post about The Isle of Colonsay. It’s a place I’ve been to 3 times now and it never disappoints me. It’s always beautiful and the island holds a lot of history to my Husband. I’d love it if you could check it out, and you can do that by clicking here.
Thanks so much for reading this post and please go spread some love to these bloggers. Have you got a favourite post this month by another blogger, or have you written a post that you’re proud of? Let me know in the comments!
