Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick – Review

I love Kat Von D, so when I found out she was releasing a makeup range I was rather excited! I knew her range would be right up my street so I couldn’t wait to get my hands on some of the products. I lost track of when the range was going to be released in the UK, so when I went to the USA in September and found her makeup in Sephora I lost my shit! I couldn’t afford much, so I bought one of her Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks.

The shade I bought was ‘Backstage Bambi’. It’s a really intense pink shade, very much out of my comfort zone, but I’m trying to push my boundaries so I’m sure I’ll get used to it. I think I got so excited I grabbed any colour without really looking at the others, but hey, I love it! When I got home I researched when the range was going to be released in the UK and lo and behold it was already out! I was quick to place an order for more in her range; another Liquid Lipstick in the shade ‘Berlin’ and the Lock-it Liquid Foundation. I’ll write a review on the foundation soon, but for now, this is what I think of her liquid lipsticks!
I simply think they’re amazing. The pigmentation is incredible, and they really do suit the name, ‘everlasting’, as they really do last, plus, it doesn’t transfer. I was able to kiss my sons head and not leave a mark! I’m desperate to purchase a few more, maybe in more neutral shades.
The application is great too. They feel silky on the lips and I find them easy to apply. They dry super quickly too so great for if you’re in a rush, like I usually am!
At the moment the range is exclusive to Debenhams, and my local store doesn’t stock it either so I’m having to order online, which is a pain in the ass, so I’m hoping it’ll be stocked soon. I have heard Debenhams on Oxford Street in London stocks it so if you want to have a good look at the whole range and shades, this is the place to go.
Just to make things even better, they aren’t even highly priced! When I found out about the range my first thought was ‘Wow, they are going to be expensive!’ but I was pleasantly surprised! Can I also just take a quick moment to appreciate the packaging? It’s so up my street. I’m a tattooed woman and the packing has rose design on it so perfect for a tattoo lover.
I’ll soon write a review for the Lock-it Liquid Foundation, so keep an eye out for that! Let me know what you think of these, or whether you want a product in Kat Von D’s range. I can’t get enough of them so I’m sure I’ll be buying more soon.
Thanks for reading!
